Amid these discussions, Vance defended President Donald Trump in light of an AI-generated image that depicted Trump in a Christ-like fashion. Vance clarified that Trump had no intention of mocking Christianity or portraying himself as a deity, suggesting that the image was meant as a humorous gesture rather than a serious portrayal.
